If investing in a makeup artist isn’t in the books at the moment, I highly encourage getting your makeup done heavier than you’d normally wear. Throw on the blush, fun lipstick, and those false eyelashes for more of a “pop” in your photos. I promise it will still make you look like your natural self, while enhancing some of the beautiful features on your face!
“Julia is one of the absolute best photographers I’ve ever worked with. I have worked with her a few times and she constantly amazes me with a gallery filled with absolutely stunning photos! Recently, she took my grad photos and to say i’m obsessed with them is putting it lightly. I highly recommend Julia to anyone in need of beautiful photos!”
Wear what you would for graduation :) Although you’re more than welcome to bring some options to spice it up.
Most commonly asked question I get! I say 50+ as a minimum, but in reality, the larger the group getting individuals done, the more everyone will have.
The more the merrier! As long as you let me know 2 weeks prior to our session, I can send another invoice your way!
For portraits, I promise two weeks for all of the digital high-res photos to be in your hands to cherish and share!
Yes, since JMU is such a big campus, we only stay on the quad to ensure the most effect use of our time.
All the way through! My goal is make you feel comfortable and coach you through natural poses.
I will send you a Dropbox link with all of the images within 2 weeks time.
This year will most likely be mornings! The light spreads across campus softer, and I'll ensure the most flattering light for your portraits (I have some spots on the quad that are hidden gems).
For safety, The week leading up to your session I’ll keep an close eye on weather conditions. If there’s over a 30% chance of rain at the time of our scheduled shoot, I’ll send over dates to reschedule so I can promise the best light.
